I was arrested and charged with a different. I blew right at the limit and can't believe it. I was stopped because of a light that was out on my car and the officer said he smelled alcohol. What could happen? I was fine even though I had 2 beers and don't think I was drunk.

From this point forward, your life will be severely impacted, unless you can lessen the impact of the DUI charge.

So, this is what you do.

Appear in court as directed, plead not guilty, ask for the court to appoint an attorney (or hire your own), make no statements, admissions, or confessions, and do exactly as instructed by your lawyer going forward.

This will have an impact on your life that you will soon see.

That said, you might immediately want to enroll in an alcohol awareness class and become involved with AA.
