what are my options in finding a new place to live?

I am intending to file for divorce. My husband and I have been married for 6 years and the only children in the relationship are mine. Do I have to rent a place to live if I am intending to leave or can I purchase a home, and at what point can I do that if I can not do that now?

A: This is entirely up to you. But if you buy land while you are still married, your husband may be required to do something...waiver of marital rights, quit claim deed, etc. Ask your lawyer for details.
