Was the corporation notified

I am the president of a corporation. I received a notice to quit from a landlord the corporation leases land from. The letter was addressed to me and only refers to me as an individual. The corporate name does not appear in the address or in the notice, only me as an individual.

My office in the corporation was not referred to in the notice either.

Was the corporation notified to quit?

In my humble opinion, by your notification, the corporation has also been notified. You serve as the president. Had you been a security guard, one could make the argument that service is ineffective. As president, such service upon you serves as proper service (aka notice) upon the corporation.

A Virginia judge presiding over this matter could see things differently.

I agree that is "most likely" the case - the corp. was notified also.
