I recieved a ticket for "no proof of registration-insurance" in southern Ca. in 2005. Someone had previously broke in my car at a motel we were at and cleaned out my car. I called my sister in Or. and asked her to get in my files and send proof for me. It didn't happen and here I am. I do have copies of proof to take with me. How do I take care of this? I live in Oregon now. My Ca. license is expired today,July 15th,08. Will they take me to jail if I set up a walk in court date? What should I expect? THANKS!; Jujubee
