So this is the situation in brief. My wife had a major credit card she defaulted on in Boston about 4 years ago. We recently moved to AZ and got a warrant in the mail for contempt of court, although we had never seen the original court notice. We now live in AZ and the law firm representing the creditor (major CC company) has said they will take the warrant off if we pay in full.
There is no way we can pay in full, and I do not want a warrant for her arrest in Boston, is there a way to get a court case out here, or contact the court letting them know our situation. What are our options?
