Criminal Law WAIVER OF EXCLUDABILITY (I-601) TO us

I married an Australian man who has been denied residency to US because of Assault on Police charge in 1995. We were allowed to file an I-601 waiver which has been returned to us for further documentation (our original waiver was not sufficient for a favorable consideration). What kind of documentation is required? What is sufficient evidence? We have 30 days in which to respond and we are FRANTIC. Any ideas? Thanks
