My brother is serving time in a federal prison. He just sent me a visitor form to fill out. There is a space for my criminal convictions. Three years ago on a visit to New Orleans I served ten days in jail for trespassing and disturbing the peace. Will this make it impossible for me to see him? Do I need to see a lawyer if they deny me? He is in for a long time and we are very close. I will do whatever I need to to make it possible to visit. Thank you for your time.
