My husband violated his probation with a couple of bad drug drops. He has been on probation for a year now. His last bad drop was in July and his probation officer waited until 10 days before his probation was suppose to end to take him to court. She put a warrant out for his arrest. He turned himself in and was scheduled to see a judge 3 weeks later with no release. I have been with my husband for 18 years and have several character reference letters from church friends, a neighbor, and his boss. He is a hard worker (working 60 to 70 hours a weeks) and a good man. He has been fighting his drug problem for many years, but has been doing very well with just a few set backs the past year. His probation officer is recommending 4 to 6 months. Is it possible for him to get out without serving more time?
