veterinary clinic lost my family pet

My girlfriend and i brought out pet ball python to see a vet for a problem. We drop her off at 8. Am and around 9.30 am we get a call from the vet with the news that our python is gone. One and one half hour it has taken three people looking to not find the python. That was three hours ago. What do i do from here.?

Not much you can do, even if the snake is never found.
You can sue for the value of a ball python.
Before you trod down that long, lonely road, discuss the situation with the vet. Allow him or her to rectify the incident before you get too upset.
It might be priceless to you.

Before a court of law, I'm guessing if you sued and proved your case, a judge in small claims might award you $200 to $300. Females are often worth more than males. It's a pet to you. In a court if law, it's just another reptile.

You might be able to file a complaint with the DVM licensing board in your state.
