While cancelling my Nextel cellular phone account I was informed, for the first time, that the plan I was under had early termination charges. The background: I used their service for 1.5 years while with a particular employer that used nextel services- After terminating that relationship I opted to alter my rate plan to a lower monthly rate until I would make a decision to remain with Nextel- or go with another provider. It was lowered- Three months later I sigend up with another service provider and cancelled my Nextel service- At that time they claimed I entered into a "Verbal Contract" when I changed rate plans and emphasized that I must have been informed by their sales rep at that time- I disagree- I was never informed of any binding terms-

Now after 6 attempts to have the termination charges removed, without any cooperation from Customer care of any Nextel management- I'm hoping to find legal courses of action and this is my first step! Thank you for your help in advance.
