I have a faxed vehicle purchase agreement that indicates a "phone order" in place of the purchasers signature. I put a deposit of $50.00(credit card) and placed a "hold" on the vehicle until the following day(written on agreement). My wife and I could see and purchase the vehicle then if satisfied. The salesmen indicated that this would give me first rights to purchase. Later in the day, I recieved a call saying my purchase agreement was no longer valid and that the vehicle was sold. Do I have any recourse?

Q: Do I have any recourse?

A: Yes; buy a different vehicle.
