On a bachelor party weekend for a buddy. Friday night I wonder off through the casino ( about 12:00am) I was really drunk at the time and wondered into a parking lot, not sure really where on the premesis. Any way two clark county foot patrol officers catch me urinating between some parked cars in the parking lot, not near anyone (I guess except them). I was brought to the Casino processing area, given a citation and told not to come back to the casino.
the citation stated:" lewd or dissolute conduct - did knowingly offer or agree or engage in lewd or dissolute conduct in a public place or place open to public view IE urinating."
Why wasn't I given a " not peeing in public" charge? If I accept this will I need to register as a sex offender? is it in my best interest to retain a lawyer? To top it off i'm from out of state. I know I did wrong but isn't this charge a bit trumped up? Any advice?
