I am dating a girl who has a very angry ex-boyfriend. He and I have never talked. He often threatens my safety and tells his ex-girlfriend that if he ever sees me, he will "beat the shit out of me."
One day, I drove over to the girls house and her ex-boyfriend was outside in his car; He was upset about something, talking to her. This was the first time that me and the ex-boyfriend have ever crossed paths. He saw me pull up, got mad, and sped away.
Later than night, while sleeping in my girlfriends apartment, I heard her dog barking downstairs at the window. I looked outside and saw a silver car (looked just like the ex-boyfriends car) driving away from her apartment. I didnt think anything of this - there are lots of people that live in the complex. The next morning I noticed my tire was slashed, and my car had been keyed.
Does this case have a chance in court? What else would I need?
