I moved into an apartment after paying my deposit and rent 2 weeks in advance to not have a working stove or refrigerator, no hot water, no air no proper running toilet, no blinds, no door knob on door, no bathroom door, paint all over hard wood floor, semi wet carpet, not sanitizer properly and black mold around window seals. How can I get help

Why would you pay for and move into a place as bad as that? And why wouldn't you immediately move out?

The local health department or building inspection unit might be able to assist you.

In some cities your elected city council person or mayor's office will very often assist you, too.

I had no ideas the apartment looked that way I paid my money 2 weeks before moving in
