Consumer Law, Warranties Unpaid car payment?

:no:I made verbal and written contract with party to take over the car note on a vehicle in 2004,it was suppose to be 52 payments of $550 a mo...I have receipts showing that I've been giving him the $550 every month,consistantly...and as of 04/2008...he's hasn't paid the car note,and is behind over 3k,but I've been paying him $550 every mo...and have the receipts.....What do I do.......
