Situation: Wife rear-ended a vehicle no injuries. Victim's attorney sued for repair bill and managed to get wife's drivers licenses revoked in interim. Went to court with ours and theirs attorneys. Reached a settlement. Wife (not me) would pay $100 per month till debt settled. Complainant would remove request from DMV to suspend license. Payments to Complainant where being made per agreement. Complainant failed/refused after the fact to have wife's license reinstated. Wife stopped making payments because of that.

So instead of Complainant filling for wife's wages, They, WITHOUT ANY NOTICE started garnishing MY paycheck.

Before this started Wife and I are separating and currently living apart.
The agreement reach between my wife and the attorneys did NOT name me in the suite.

Question: Are they still able to garnish my wages and what if anything can I do to stop it?

ANY HELP WOULD BE MOST APPRECIATED!

Thank you!

Get a copy of the judgment from the file at the courthouse.

I suspect your name is on it also.
