It's a long story... My husband owns his own small construction company in Salt Lake City, UT. Someone used his business account at a supply store to rack up $25,000 in materials and equipment rentals, and then they did not pay. He now has a judgment on his credit and we are trying to settle with the company. The thing is, my husband's credit limit at the store was only $5,000, so we don't understand why this person was able to charge up so much anyhow. I guess we can't do anything about the amount charged because it is now a judgment on my husband's credit, so we are trying to write a settlement letter, and I don't know really how to go about doing that or really where to start.
