K Visa U.S. Citizen marrying H1B visa

His H1B visa epires in November, but can be renewed for another 3 years. We're getting married in a few weeks, so we'd rather not renew the H1B, but apply for adjustment in status instead. He needs to travel out of the country to Europe in October.

My understanding is that we need to submit an I-130, advance parole (for his travel). What other documents do I need to fill out?

I'm a law school grad, but no immigration experience. If someone can tell me exactly which forms to complete, hopefully I can take care of this myself.

Yes you need to apply for AOS I-485, advance parole, work permit, and I-130. That is all. He would also need to do medicals, passport pictures for you both, six for him and four for you, all the fees are about 1300$. It is easy...... Let me know if you have more questions.
