I was ticketed for driving on a residential street (no lane markings) in "wrong direction - driving northbound in a southbound lane" The ticket carries a 115.00 fine and 3 points on my license. My court date is Aug 8th, 2005. Technically I was in the middle of the road with my family van. In fact my passenger right tire was touching the white painted stop line on the street. Someone mentioned to me to withhold adjudication (to make sure no points assessed); and also to request information on the law on "how far can a driver be on a street before determing if they are in fact driving in wrong direction...please advise on how I can fight this citation.
