Is is legal to tow your car from a public parking area because your registration is expired. I live in NJ and I was driving my parents car which is registared in the state of Maine. The registration had expired and when I returned to teh Park 'n Ride my car had been towed by the police. Is it legal to tow someone car without them in it or giving prior notice for expired registration?
