Does the filing of a Motion for Rehearing on a Final Judgment of Dissolution of Marriage, toll the time to file an appeal on that Final Judgment?
The Court entered the Final Judgment in July, both sides filed rehearing motions, but did not file an appeal.
In December Court entered an "Order Amending Equitable Distribution and Alimony Provisions of Final Judgment and Denying all Remaining Motions."
Opposing Counsel then filed an Appeal within 30 days of the Amended Order, however they are trying to include an appeal of the July Final Judgment.
Didn't they have to file the appeal of the July Final Judgment within 30 days of the Court entering tha FJ?
