Criminal Law Theft Charges

i got charged with theft under $5,000.00. All though I had only $26.00 worth of stuff on me at the time and instead of fighting a lengthy court battle I accepted it and paid no fines or penalties and only recieved probation for the charge for 1 year probation. i think not to sure on the length of time for probation it was either 6 months or 1 year no longer then that though i know for sure. that is the only conviction i have on my record how hard is it going to be to cross the boarder on a vacation to the united states.

the conviction i got was put under a summary charge, with one year probation and could apply for a pardon after 3 years if that helps as well.
