Is it ethical that the attorney sending the bill six months later? The ironically that I never sign any contingency nor retaining fees, she never disclose her upfront fees.

The attorney does need to be paid. Did you ask about fees when you hired the attorney?

She never disclose any fees. I was attending one of her seminar, and call her office to discuss the topic. She sent me questionnaire in the mail and I brought it to her. She made the copies of the trust, and will follow up. During the presentation, she never once discuss her fees. My understanding was for initial courtesy. Six months later she sent me the invoice, and said, oops, forgot about the bill. What kind of ethic does she practices and what section of the Law that attorney fees and costs need to disclose?

This may seem like the same question as Betty's - but seriously, bellavistame, did you actually ask the attorney?
