My 8 year old son has been in Tae Kwon Do since June 2006. We paid 3 months for a summer deal until 10/2006. At that time I signed a 2 year contract, because at the time, my son still liked the classes and was excited to attend. In December 2006, the classes started with contact and sparring classes. My son did not like the sparring at all. I could not get him to go back no matter how hard I tried.
I will not force my son to continue something he dislikes.

I contacted the Tae Kwon Do owners and explained the situation. They basically said, "too bad, you signed a contract and you have to pay."

I am not willing to pay for services that my son is no longer receiving. They are wanting to collect $1751.95 plus interest accruing at a rate of 1.5% per month until paid.

Please help. I won't force my son to continue because of a contract, yet, I don't feel I should have to pay for something that is no longer a service.

I am in New Mexcio. Please help.
