My firearm was stolen from my home. I reported to the police, but since I dont know what happened to the gun, they are interviewing my friends. Even though I told them there is no way they would know where it would be. I told them that I think that the maintanace men in my apartment complex are the only ones with the keys to my apartment and know the tennants routines. Can any leagle action be taken against me by the police? What about my friends who have nothing to do with it. I think what I did was right by reporting it just concerned about the approach used by the police.

Why would you think the police would want to take any legal action against you?
