My daughter's cell phone was stolen in Maryland and $700 of international calls made on it during a two day period. I noticed AT&T has reached an agreement on customer liability for stolen cell phones in CA. Does anyone know if there is any action nationwide or if (and what) the latest consumer protection policy is? I've been unable to find any laws specific to Maryland regarding stolen cell phone charges and liabilties. Can anyone help me in this search? I'm not an attorney. thanks!
