A so called friend wanted to buy a car I have in my front yard non opped. he paid for half of it . he's been living in it, it's a mess. He needs to go. has not finished paying for the car. he was on parole. so I have them at my house all the time. he's a slob . relieves himself in the front yard. it's embarrassing. how do I get him to go legally without any backlash.?

Sorry, but "backlash" is virtually guaranteed.

I have no idea how you get yourself out of this situation that you got yourself into.

You were probably already violating a city ordinance by keeping an inoperable car in your front yard.

You're the one who is going to get fined if you get the city involved.

You might consider him a tenant and give him 30 days written notice as required by law and then evict him through the courts if he doesn't leave by the deadline. No way to predict how that turns out.

Did you sign over the title?
If not, the car belongs to you. Move it, sell it, scrap it, or otherwise make it disappear.
Give him his half payment back in exchange for immediately leaving. You have options.
