I have just been remarried and my husband would like to adopt my 2 daughters from my previous marriage. My ex husband only pays child support when they attach his pay check or threaten to put him in jail. He has not paid it since 10-1-01 this time. He also never calls to see how they are, or to set up a time to see them, there are no birthday or christmas presents, nothing.
My ex-husband does not have a job and has not kept one very long. I am a housewife, home with the kids and my husband it a town police officer.
What options do I have? I was going to give him papers when I see him in court on the child supprt obsolving his parental rights so that my husband could adopt them. Can I do this? Where could I find the forms?
