Starting Online Company

Hey guys,


I am a college student who wishes to start a simple online website. Do I need to "start a company" for it? I wish to hopefully earn some cash from it, so I don't know if it will be classified as "non-profit." Is it possible to ask a local lawyer to help me "pro-bono," or perhaps I'll pay him later once I earn enough money from the website? How should I do it?

It depends on how you want to make money off of it. Like on Deviant art. artist sell their work on there, they advertise for jobs and stuff. I'm pretty sure none of them have started a business for it. It's all in what you actually want to do.
