I was wondering of the my spouse was to start working would that decrease or effect my SSDI benefits.

The SSDI benefits are from my own work history. I am NOT drawing from anyone else.

So if my spouse starts to work is there a limit under SSDI program where I was lose money coming in?

Thanks!

The earnings of your spouse won't impact your SSDI. benefits.

Nope, your spouse can work and make as much as he or she is able. That does not change your entitlement to SSDI.

I am on SSDI due to ESRD (a listed qualifying condition) and my wife's income has no impact on my disability. I am limited to earning a bit over $1K/month or I will lose disability if I do so for more than 9 months out of 5 years (9 months is allowed as a "trial work period")
