I need your expert opinion.
I recently got a speeding ticket. I was charged for
speeding at 60 on a 35 mile Zone. I was going from North to South on a highway where the posted speed limit was 45. The
posted speed limit changes to 35 after couple of
miles. But, at the intersection where the officer
caught me speeding (the intersection is mentioned in
the ticket), the speed limit was still 45. If you go
past this intersection (after around 300 feet), there
is a yellow board that says the speed limit is 35.
My question is:
1. I want to fight this on court. Even if I am not
able to prove that I was not going at 60 but at 50, I
can still should be able to prove that speed limit was
45 not 35 since its obvious for someone who travels on
that road. BUT, MY QUESTION IS; WHAT SHOULD I PRESENT
AS AN EVIDENCE TO PROVE THAT SPEED LIMIT THERE WAS 45
AND NOT 35. I did take some pictures. But, I am not sure if they are any good or should I take a video?.
2. DO I HAVE ANY OTHER OPTION?.
