Just thought I'd ask for some advice on this one. I am set for court mandatory appearance on Wednesday in a Mayors Court in a OHIO suburb.

I'm planning on pleading NOT GUILTY due to a statute in Ohio that states:
ORC 2331.11 States:
(A)* The following persons are privileged from arrest:
(5) Persons who, on their traditional day of worship are within, going to, or returning from their place of worship, are worshipping at a service, or are going to or returning from a service.
-------------------------------------------
ORC 2921.01 (E) States:
"Detention" means arrest; confinement in any vehicle subsequent to an arrest; ( Which is what the officer does when he writes out your ticket )

Do you think this will hold water? The websters dictionary even tells me arrest means:
Arrest:
a.The act of detaining in legal custody: the arrest of a criminal suspect.
b. The state of being so detained: a criminal under arrest.

Does anyone have any advice on how to approach this in court?? Is there a prayer for judgement in ohio that I can ask for? I only have 2 points on my record....
