Hello! Yesterday, I was pulled over in SC for speeding 45 mph in a 35. I live in NC and therefore have an NC license, and this was my first ticket ever. Being that I am just 18 years old, I am terribly concerned about the effect any points on my license will have on my insurance. (I'm in no position to pay double what I'm paying now, or whatever it would be!). I just wanted to ask someone how many points I would receive for an out-of-state violation of speeding 10 mph over the posted limit? If anyone has any ideas for how to get this "erased" (I don't believe there is a prayer for judgement in SC), I would really appreciate it. I can deal with the $77 ticket, if I must, but as I said I'm rather distressed about the insurance! Thank you in advance.
