Hi,
My spouse opened the company on my behalf for import/export business. He was the one who was running the business completely keeping me unaware of the money the business was making. He used to sign checks on my behalf (doing my signatures) since company was on my name without my consent.
Our case is in court now. He is claiming that he was signing checks on my behalf with my VERBAL consent which is totally false.

Now my question is, is there some thing "VERBAL" consent? and is there any proper way to sign on someone else behalf? Can you do signatures of your spouse on checks even though if it was verbal consent if suppose???

Your help is appreciated
Thanks

There seems to be a word missing from this sentence. One certainly can consent to something verbally, if that's what you're asking.

There are multiple ways that may be proper, depending on the relevant facts and circumstances.

This question is completely incoherent.

You have an attorney representing you in the divorce, right?
