I have a contract for hotel rooms at a set rate signed by the hotel and me. The hotel sales person that signed the contract has since left and the new contact does not want to honor the rates agreed upon and is using the argument that the previous sales person did not have the authority to sign for her hotel.

If she had the authority while she worked there then they must honor the contract now. To prove the contract valid answer this: Did you use the hotel during the time the sales person was there and did they honor the contract then? Was there a time limit on the contract and are you trying to renew or just enforce the one you have? Did you pay any monies upfront for the contract?
