L Visa Should I pursue an ACD for non-criminal offense? Will it affect visa?

Hello,

I recently received a pink summons ticket for Violation of Admin Code 16-118(6). It was for peeing outside. It's a non-criminal, violation level offense. (Not a misdemeanor)

My L1A visa is up for renewal in about 2 years.

Should I pursue an ACD and have it dismissed after 6 months? Is there any reason NOT to do this (as opposed to pleading guilty)?

Is there anything else special I should know going forward?

It is never wise to plead guilty, even when you are guilty.

The wise play is plead not guilty, make no statements, offer no explanation, and force the state to prove its case.

Its also foolish to do anything until you've consulted a licensed attorney in the state where you were charged.
