Hello, I will try to make this as short as possible. I have had my wages garnished for about a year until I left the job in hopes that if I found another job I would have the time to get on my feet and possibly file bankruptcy. I recently started working again for the same employer (small town- no jobs) only to find the garnishment there on my first check. After doing a little research on the net I found some information about Arizona Revised Statutes particularly ARS 12-1598.10, subsection D. My release or termination date was about 1-14-2006 and my new hire date was 4-26-06.
From what I can understand about ARS 12-1598.10 part 2 is that if I left the employer from where I was being garnished for more than 60 days, the garnishment should no longer be there.
Any help on this would be great, Thank You.
