I was arrested for shoplifting at (grocery store). The amount was $40. I am looking for an attorney in hopes they can get me into a diversion program. I'm a 40 yr old adult. .not an 18 yr old kid..I'm not sure 8 I'll qualify. My arraignment is in 2 weeks. Any advice?

That or open the yellow pages and search our criminal defense Attorneys. I am a retail theft consultant and answer questions like yours daily. Long as you currenlty have a clean record you should meet criteria for Diversion. However a local Attorney will know for sure
