selling a leased vehicle

Can you actually sell a leased vehicle. How do you know what to sell for? I mean do you ask for only the amount that you will pay at the end of lease or what. Thanks

You cannot sell a leased vehicle since you do not have title to the vehicle. In addition, unless released by the lessor, you will be responsible for all the payments in the event the buyer does not make the payments. In order to sell a leased vehicle, title must pass to you and you need to work this out with the lessor.
