Select a broker to sell a property

I am thinking of selling a house but do not know how to select a broker. Does it matter if I go for a big company that has been around (i.e. Century 21, REMAX, etc.) and has the experience in marketing the property? Or should I go for a smaller company, which does not charge as much for commission but is weak in advertising and marketing?

Would you please provide some input? Thanks.

I'd check to make certain whatever company you choose has the ability to tie into a "biggie" real estate company that advertises online. For example, where I live there are two companies (Blanchard and Calhoun and Meybohm) that advertise both their properties and the properties of other companies on their sites.

So many people find houses through the internet.
