We moved out of a rented condo 5-1-09, 3 months prior to the end of our lease. My spouse lost his job 12-09 and we could no longer afford the rent. The owners agreed that if we gave 30 days notice and paid the last months rent we would be released from the lease. We spackled all holes, painted and cleaned. We did a walk through with the construction manager and he saw no damages and clearly stated this upon completion. We also had 3 other tenants in the building walk through as well.For some reason we felt some insecurity and therefore took multiple photos and kept all correspondence. It is now over 2 months and we have yet to see our security check. They claim they had to spackle, paint, shampoo rugs, repair a tear and damage to the kitchen island. WHAT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
