I'm just wondering bout search warrants Is it known if where the police search with a warrant and they don't leave the search warrant in house which was being searched. I'm just wondering do they have to leaVe a search warrant in house that was searched

I don't know Canada specifically but typically a warrant needs to be issued in order to be effective. I doubt that not leaving you with a copy in the house would mean that the warrant is defective.
