2 years ago, i moved high shools, and upon leaving paid all my fines. i graduated from my new school today, (same District) and the old school says i cannot have a diploma until i pay these fines that i paid two years ago, and they have no record of. i dont either, but does anyone expect a teenager to keep a reciept from school for 2 years? legally can they withold my diploma because of this? i paid the fines cash, they have no proof, doesnt that make it their problem?
