Rent, Utilities Roommate left with no notice

So a couple of days ago, my roommate moved out with no notice to me and is not talking to me at all. The last thing I was told was that this was 'her two week notice' even though she's completely gone and has already turned over her key. It's my name under the lease and she's just listed as an occupant. We only had a verbal agreement over rent and I was wondering if this was something I could take her to small claims court over. I'm sure I've just been screwed over but it helps to know for sure.

Also if there are things she's left, can I throw them out or do I have to keep them in case she asks for them later.

You can try suing her in small claims court for rent but it certainly would have helped if you had a written agreement.

I definitely would not throw her things out.

Hang on to her stuff for awhile. If she doesn't return for it you can likely get rid of it without any trouble.
As for small claims, don't bother. You won't get anywhere with all that.
