I rented a house with a roomate. The lease is in my name only. She lived here for 8 months, and has announced she will not pay rent because it will take me 60 days to evict her. Is this true? I have tried to find a replacement, placing several ads, but am in a college town where no one wants to rent a room in summer, and my lease is up at the end of August.
