Daughter is 16, boyfriend is 21. Question is what legal rights does Boyfriend have during pregnancy and after baby is born? Daughter is wanting to break up and there is no marriage talk.

Until Father has established paternity he has no rights. Now if Mom goes on Welfare, Food Stamps or, Medicaid they will want Father's name ect. Once that happens the door is open for him to seek visitation and custody. Mom too can seek support once paternity is established.

Just adding that he has no rights at all to be present during doctor's visits, hospital visits, the birth itself.. none. He can attend if Mom allows it.

The 21 year old would be wise to mind his P's and Q's. As an adult who may ave allegedly impregnated a child, storm clouds could gather rather quickly, especially in those beautiful Colorado mountains.

Dangerous territory for the 21 year old. If there was any sexual activity while the female was 15 then he could be looking at jail time.
As above, until he establishes paternity and obtains court ordered visitation the mother is not obligated to do anything at all.

No laws have been broken. He's not looking at any jail time.

Colorado:

Age of sexual consent. State law does not
criminalize consensual sex when both parties are 17
years of age or older. Further, the law does not
criminalize consensual sex with a minor less than 17
years old under certain circumstances. It is not a
crime for a 15- or 16-year-old to have consensual sex
with someone who is less than 10 years older
. It is
also not a crime for a minor who is 14 years old or
younger to have consensual sex with another person
who is less than four years older.

It depends how long the sexual relationship existed. Just because she is pregnant at 16 does not mean they were not having sex while younger. It is not uncommon for an investigation to uncover that sort of detail.

And which does not change the fact that until he is legally declared the father, he has no rights that Mom does not choose to give him.

The statute covers 15 year olds.

Without anything new from the OP, that's all we can REALISTICALLY AND PRACTICALLY go by.
