Rights to Recind Foreclosure/Loan Modification Scam

Hired a Foreclosure Attorney to help with Loan Modification w/Lender so it would be done correctly. Found myself scammed after I received notice that my home was sold on Dec 15th and it went back to the bank. Banks says its to late. The attorney I had hired told me that they would do all the contacts with the Lender and they would let me know when the Loan Modification was completed. I was not to call the lender because it could delay things and cause issues. I agreed. I was being given messages that the Loan Modification was going forward and they were waiting to hear back from the Lender. That I was not being foreclosed on and that everything was fine. No one contacted me to let me know (lender or attorney) that my Loan Modification was denied, needed more information, or my home was being sold. Where are my rights in any of this? I live in Oregon.
