restricted license

The other day my mom called my cell phone and told me that a York County deputy had called her house and said that I needed to call him. I called the number she gave me and got connected to the officer that had called her house. He started asking me questions like where I work but didn't tell me what he wanted right away. Eventually he told me that he had seen me driving, knew I had a suspended license, and that I had to come meet him so he could write me a summons or he was going to go take a warrant out for my arrest. I didn't want him to take out the warrant because I was on probation, so my mom took me up to the sheriff's office to meet him. He took my license and gave me a summons for driving outside of my restrictions because i had a suspended license. He never pulled me over though so I don't see how he can do that. Plus, I was somewhere that my restricted license allowed me to be when he saw me. Also, he was very intimidating as well as rude to me and my mom and he lied to or deceived both of us throughout this whole thing. Any input on what I should do? I know I need to get a lawyer but I am having trouble setting up an appointment since I can't drive at all right now and I am having to work around other people's schedules as well.
