You contact your lawyer, your probation officer, and/or the court clerk and attempt to make payment arrangements.

Don't use the excuse "I can't afford it", because that often ends up with you getting your probation revoked and you might find yourself sitting in County Crossbar Hilton.

Its best to ask for modified payment arrangements, and if you get them, make sure you never miss one, or one is late!!!

I suppose you file a petition with the court and ask the judge for an adjustment.

The procedure for that is not something anybody here can provide you.
