A friend and myself were sitting in a car when a police officer walked up. My friend had marijuana on him, so the cop took us out of the car and searched up. The officer got 2 blunts and a little more weed from my friend. I had no marijuana on me. I got charged however. Now, I really don't want to tell my parents. I just want to put this event past me. When I contact the court do I have to bring a parent with me since I'm 17? I could also use some advice. Thanks. This is in Royal Oak, Michigan.
